i just got approved,i just received email from ins says i was approved on aug 17,and i will get approval letter within 14 days,

i really cant believe it, i was waiting for 7 years,i almost give up

I hope soon i can give good news like yours.Looks like USCIS Approving 2001 cases.

Congratulations but I would not be losing my sleep over it. For most of us GC wont make any difference. Its the Citizenship that counts, as I say GC is one step towards citizenship.
 
Thanks, this helps. So I shouldn't expect to have my LUD updated. One of these days (or years) I'll just receive approval e-mail :)
