I just don't understand...

Hi -

I do not mean to sound bitter and am certainly happy for those, who are approved. However, I just don't understand why those with RD of 9/03 are being approved, while those with RD of 4/02 are still without approval.

It may be that NSC is trying to approve those applications that may retrogress to avoid further wait. However, on the other hand, this process is so messed up that NSC can't simply deploy "first in, first out" concept to their adjudication process.

just venting my frustration...congratulations to those who received their approval via email/snail mail...

I think all service centers have adjudicated new application to old application. This is totally messed up. CSC has adjudicated many cases of 2004, but has not even touched some cases of 2002 and 2003.

It is a shame and disgrace that all service centers are using the concept of divide and conquer. They are surely worried about the class action law suit deployed by this forum and potential others.

It is important to understand that this divide and conquer policy is like a lottery. For eg, I along with many others from 2002 and 2001 are still waiting. There is no guarantee that unlucky folks from 2004 has to wait until 2007 just because of the random picking order of service centers.

Is there anything that can be done via legal channels to streamline the processing order (on a first come basis)?

Looking at the recent approvals, looks like they are approving sep/oct 2003 cases which are concurently filed. Even in concurently filed category they are cherry picking with unknown crieteria?? Frustating, at best.

I-485 RD: Sept, 2003

i don't know how NSc will handle the processes of i485 if EB quota limitation
is forced probably in january 05.
