I-I40 and Name Check

My I-140 and I-485 were filed concurrently in October 2004 (not approved yet) and I found many I-140 approvals for cases with RD/ND after October 2004. I'm wondering if NAME check has anything to do with the I-140 approval. Could it be possible that my I40 has not been processed yet because of the pending NAME check? Thanks.
 
You will find that the I140 approvals after your Notice date are not concurrent filing. When you file concurrently ar Nebraska service center it is taking about 1 year at present for your I140 to be looked at.
 
There are several people with 140s approved and pending 485s due to the name check issue.

The I-140 looks at the job offer, the sponsoring company and your professional qualifications. The I-485 looks at you and your eligibility for permanent residency, that's where your background check comes into play.
