I have LOCAL TRansfer INformation!

My 485 was transferred to Boston INS in April.
I consulted a local Boston lawyer yesterday.Here is what he said
a) Transfer is pretty routine.
b) Most transfers are random.
c) Boston INS does not look at the transfer case as a high priority case.
d) They will try to fit us into available time slots
e) Typical time is 4 months to get an interview letter

Do you stay in Boston?
My case was also transferred to Boston in April. Interview scheduled on August 2. But do not stay in Boston now.
Not yet decided whether to go for that interview or get the file transferred to Pittsburgh

Is your case EB2/EB3/NIW?

It may be easier to just come to Boston and get this done.......
