Hello everybody.. I'm going to make my story short.. well I got married to my wife who is a US citizen. She just filed the petition for me. I know it takes about 90 days for me to get the work permit. But I was wondering if its really exactly 90 days that I have to wait. Because i was browsing on the internet and reading other peoples story and some of them received their work permit after 2 weeks... Well I just want to know If I'm lucky enough, Will I receive my work permit earlier than 90 days?

Like in a month or two? or maybe earlier..

How about you? when did you receive your work permit?

Thanks and hope to hear from you!

90 days is the timeframe set by USCIS-ie, if you have not received your EAD by the 90 day mark, then you are able to enquire about it- until that time, you are told just to wait as you are within the stated processing time.
From my reading of the different forums, it appears that the average time is roughly around 2 months- I got mine after just over 2 months of filing. That being said, yours may still take 90 days as there is no way of predicting just how long an individual case will take.
