I had to reschedule my naturalization oath ceremony

Hello,
Last month i received a letter with the naturalization oath ceremony date. Because i had a vacation planned i wanted to reschedule it. This post is to let everyone know that i sent my notice back with a letter explaining my need to rechedule (a week long family vacation) and i received a new notice with a new ceremony date just 10 days after the original date. Not too much of a delay! I spent a lot of time reading posts looking for an answer as far as the right thing to do and just wanted to add my own experience.

Rescheduling of the interview or oath is very unpredictable. Sometimes you get a new date less than 2 weeks later, other times the rescheduled date is more than 3 months after the original date.
