I called the 800 number this morning and spent 72 minutes on hold, is it always this bad? I was working the whole time and had the phone on speaker, so it's not like I really wasted any time, but wow, 72 minutes on hold, pretty crazy.

Can I sue? j/k.

I liked the message they kept playing that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the less busy times  hate to see what a wait on Monday or Friday is!!

Lol ..... You could bill them for yout time .. ask for a 1099 ??

Well , I just made it to my 100'th post ... and I have my AOS interview tomorrow .

Wow, usually Wednesdays when you call at 8 am you only wait for 10 minutes. Apparently it got worse.

ps182, thanks for your message. I wish you good luck for tomorrow!! :)

My last call on a Thursday lasted 80 minutes. I was connected in 25 min, then officer transferred me to another officer that took 20 min. I was speaking to the officer for rest of the time while they put me on hold several times.

I called a couple of weeks ago and was transferred once. Was on for almost 70 minutes. But I must say both the agents I talked to were quite helpful and nice. A pleasant surprise since dealing with the immigration people in Canada (for my wife's PR card) wasn't so pleasant.

Sounds familiar. In the beginning of my process I called the service number more often. I was being transferred once and the whole phone call was 90 minutes.

Hm... nice sometimes, but helpful?! You must have had your lucky day! :D

In the Winter, it took 10-15 Mins wait but now its going from 25-30 mins, also I've been rejected quite a few times due to "The Lines are busy" lol.

I got them on my Speed dial so I hang up and try again and hope for an estimate of 15 mins lol.

If you start calling at 8 you are late...the best thing to do is to call and redial when is 2 minutes before the call center open...best results.

Wonder if going the en espanol route works any better. I'll try that next time I have to cal (and I can guarantee there will be a next time since the answers I got yesterday didn't exactly make me feel all warm and fuzzy).

At least you guys were able to wait!!! There were some times when I called ( I needed to update our address) and I got a message saying something like "all our reps are busy and we expect that you'll have to wait more than X minutes so please call back"
