Got the email from USCIS say my case was approved on 5/27.

Feel so happy right now and I am a FREE WOMAN!

What taxes?

First of all congratulations on your approval. You mentioned RFE is for
3 years W2, 3 pay stubs, 3 years tax right, what is difference between 3years W2 and 3 years tax?

My attorney told me I need get at least official transcripts for last 3 years' tax return. The other choice will be full copy of tax return. So I called the IRS and ordered the transcripts. That took more than 2 weeks for those paper reach my mailbox.

So I highly suggest everybody just prepare the transcript first. It's easy and free of charge.

Actually I went to local office in San Jose, but they told me they do not provide such service. Anway, I am not sure whether there will be some local office provide such service. If anybody knows, please provide the information.

Download 4506-T form (not 4506) IRS site ( http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf ) and fax it to the number provided back side of the form. Faxing is better than mailing because it saves few days.

Just got my tax documents

Folks,
Went to the local IRS office and collected stamped tax returns for 3 years. Depends entirely on the officer. A friend of mine was asked to get copy of RFE or INS interview letter for the tax returns. It doesnt harm to atleast try.

I am trying to fill this form. Item 6 is kind of confusing.
What should I enter in

What should I be checking?
a) Return transcript
b) Account Transcript
c) Record of Account
d) Verification of Nonfiling
e) Form W-2, Form 1099, Form q098, Form 5498 series transcript

If I want the tax returns for last 3 years should item 7 be

01/01/2001 01/01/2002 01/01/2003

What should the dates be ? I would think just the year would be enough.

Can somebody please explain?
