If I take Interim EAD, for how long it will be valid? Also does it effect the
processing time for the actual EAD?

7-8 months, No it will not impact the original EAD app.

I am not sure what mavishka is talking about because my iEAD is valid only for 3 months from the application date.

My iEAD was valid from 3/12/2004 through 11/7/2004.

Some of the local offices are issuing only 3 months iEAD and some are giving for 7-8 months. So it depends.......

Mine is valid for 8 months. It was issued in Philly.
