I tried about a year or so ago. Here are some tips:

1- Must have been 90 days since you have filed
2- Go there very early in the morning (around 6:30 AM)
3- Get a letter from HR stating that your continued work is important for their business
4- Take cash about $300.
5- You will first stand in the line outside, then in another line inside, then you will get a ticket from a window towards entrance, then you will wait for turn going into another window. That window will ask for a copy of I-485, your EAD receipt and the company letter. The officer there will most likely give you an appointment for another day.
6- On your appointment just simply show up a few minutes early. It will be a very small line, and you expect to be done in less than 3 hours.
7- All of this hassale will buy you a 90-day iEAD

Good Luck!

Why cash? There is no charge for an iEAD.

I would add that it may help if your existing EAD has also expired (i.e go on the day of expiration if possible). I know that the Dallas office imposes this requirement even though they shouldn't.

cash aint needed... take a copy of the receipt of filed EAD..should be more than 90days..6:30 is little late if u want to get it done the same day..they open the doors at 6:00am..be there by that time..get in..get a token..wait for ur turn..u have to fill out another application for ead..show the previously filed receipt...485 receipt copy..I-140 copy (just incase)...photos too..

But as i said earlier..there r 5-6 threads on this..

Thanks a Bunch!

Madhav, Nhusain, Dms,

Thank you all for sharing very valuable information. I appreciate you all taking your time to write down your experience & tips. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the very best. I never thought I would get into this situation when I was applying for my EAD online. It is a pity that TSC is processing EAD as of Feb 5th where as I aplied on Jan 12. The status still says 90-120 days. Even when we talk to the Customer Serivce people, they say you have to wait until 30 days are over since your RD. What a pathetic situation the way TSC handles the cases. Very disgusting indeed!!
