Hi! i'm new to this site, so sorry i'm posting in the wrong area. This is not a pharmacist specific question, but i hope someone can explain the entire process of getting a green card.
I'm a pharmacist in Washington who started with the application in 2001. My lawyer isn't helpful in explaining ANYTHING. In fact, they get angry if we ask too many questions. They won't even tell us what our priority date is.
I noticed may other posters use abbreviations such as PD, RIR, LUD, etc. Could anyone clarify those for me? Also, my lawyer has us in the dark, so i'm not even sure which step i'm at now. what's the I-140 and I-485?
