New York City Transfer
Does anybody have any information of New York local transfer cases. My case (EB2) was transferred to New York in Feb02. I have not heard anything since then. It has been almost 8 months now. Nothing occurred.

Case Transfer to Newark
My case was transferred to Newark in Jan02. I saw some discussions about getting interview. One question: how does the local office notice you about the appointment, mail or telephone? I am concerned because my phone number has changed and INS has not got my new phone number. Your information would be appreciated

Transferred to New York

My file was first transferred to Newark in January 2002. One month later, the Newark office must find out that my address has changed from New Jersey to New York, so they transfer the file to New York in February 2002. I wish I had not notified the INS the change of address. Now I am in an endless waiting and just hope New York office will do something this year on my case. Does anybody have any experience with New York office? How long am I supposed to be waiting?
