i called 1800# ! so what ? help please !

hi everyone

i called 1800# the guy told me to make infopass and find out your case status .. i toldhim that i already had infopass and they didnt help me at all ... then he say you suppose to get decsion by early may ... and he said the your case didnt pass the processing time yet.... IS THAT TRUE ???

SO when the processing time start for I-485 ? from the date i filed or from the interview date ?? and whats the processing time for that ?? so i can get to know if my case passed the processing time or not ....

I suppose you filed at National Benefits Center, so look under that section. My understanding is processing dates are by the dates in your receipts, not interview dates. SO whatever is the date on your I-485 receipt.
If your I-485 receipt date, is for example, January 5 200x (an example) and you see that they are supposedly processing January 15 200x, then schedule an infopass appointment, and when you get there ask to speak with a higher up if the officials at the front desk arent as helpful.
