I was browsing the USCIS site and I saw this in the section of maintaining permanent residency:
You may be found to have abandoned your permanent resident status if you:
Fail to file income tax returns while living outside of the US for any period.

Does this mean that failing to file taxes while in the US is not going to nullify your permanent residency? I mean, it can have other compications but not necessarily deportation (I read on different sites some people believe that failing to file taxes is a deportable issue for a PR).
How should I interpret the blue statement above?
