Called INS once in every two weeks. They always say Office is looking your files. I wonder what is happening...

Same story here. RD/ND 8/99, FP 7/00. IIO keeps telling me they are waiting for my alien file from Washington, DC. Nobody knows what triger them to do these things. By the way, did you change your non-immigrant status a couple of times before? I changed from J-1 to F-1 and transfer school once. Maybe this makes them to delay our process. Try to figure out. Any thoughts?

No, I was on L1(company transfer from India to US) for 3 months. and on H1. Now I am on EAD. But my company has changed their name. I am waiting for the RFE for I140 redo.
