I got my permenent residence card (unconditional) about a month ago and I am fixing to visit my family in my home country for about a month. This is the first time I will be leaving from the U.S. since I have been in the U.S. In 2003 I was arrested for domestic battery (I did not do anything wrong but that is a different topic for a different forum) and the charges were eventually dropped because my wife wanted them to be dropped.
My problem now is that I am scared that I will have problems re-entring the U.S. because of that arrest record. Anyone out there who has been in a similar situation or have any suggestions regarding this issue?
