I am russian just married to american.. what do I do now? Please, help

I came here on a k-1 visa and married an american guy. we are from California and what do we have to do now? Where to apply and what to do? How long does it take to the get a temporary green card and a travel document because I would like to go to Russia in May. Please, help.

But having said that,since you don't seem well versed with the immigration matters,I would suggest hire an attorney and have the attorney apply on your behalf. It will cost you between $1000 and $2000 , but it may be worth it.
 
Melinah, if you come here legally and married you dont need attorney, believe me! I,m a Ukranian and also married to an American and went through all this. Go to the official web and you can see all info what you have to do. But Im afraid you may not be able to travel to Moscow yet, because proper documents take time and you can find out web http://www.uscis.gov
