I am working as Senior Programmer Analyst with a company name A for the last 4 years. I applied my green card through the same company A. I am permanent employee here. I got my I485 recieved notice on June 8 th 2002.Now my company A is merging with another company B and I will be losing job in two months time.Currently I make $72000 per year.Now I got another job as Analyst/Programmer with another company and they offer only $68000 per year.I have a few questions.
1.Will it be a problem if I take this position due to the following reasons?
Title changed from Senior Programmer Analyst to Analyst/Programmer.
Salary changed from $72000 to $68000
2. Do I have to inform INS regarding the job change?
3. What other things I have to be careful if I get an inquiry letter from INS regarding my employment?
