I got an email from USCIS that "Card Production is ordered" after 5 years of waiting. I was shocked to see the email feeling absolute excitement and relief.

Thank you for good friends here whose posts kept me together throughout the waiting period. I wish all of you the best luck and happiness.
 
Welcome to the club - got the exact same e-mail today. I guess they finally got off their fat government-worker asses over at the Service Center (mine was the eternally backed-up Texas). Damn it feels good to be free!
 
I am from Burma (Myanmar).
I am still feeling happiness and relief till today more than 24 hours of knowing.
Strange. I thought it (happiness) won't last that long.
I had been worrying about that due to layoff news with bad economy.
At least, I can stay here without needing visa even if I lose job now.
