i am a US citizen.

i married a filipina in the Philippines in 1999. We have been seperated since 2000.

i know it is not possible, but she filed for an I-130 without my knowledge. She must have forged my signature and used old passport photos of mine.

today my father hands me the DS-230 (immigrant visa and alien registration form) which my wife told him to give to me to sign.

I want to stop this nonsense...who must i contact?

can i cancel this petition without my wife knowing?

how can this petition be valid when i haven't been living with my wife for 5 years? there's no doubt that she filled the I-130 form with false information.

How can this be happening...so my wife will be able to immigrate to the US and get away with it? can i call the police?

That is fraud and if you drop the application then is like you admitted that you filed it at first when is not. You must contact the Consulate and the National Visa Center and inform right away that somebody forged your signature. BTW since you have been separated for 5 years, you can file for divorce you know.
Good luck,

She will not be able to go through the entire process because she will need to go to the interview with you no exception. She also need proff that you two have been living together from the joint documents. Or if you know her A# or Application Receipt #, you can always call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Plus don't sign anything and she will need your affidavit of support which you need to file and you don't have to.
Is she in the Philippines?

she'll never make it through the interview. If you dont make it hard for her, the officer would. IF she is really smart (considering the fact that she forged your signature for I-130 and impersonated you), she could very well forge the rest of the documents. There is no way of knowing how far she could go with this, but she would be caught at some point.

You should get an INFOPASS appt and talk to an immigration officer. I doubt that you would get good advice if you call customer support.
