I would like to thank you all of you for maintaining this forum.
I have been approved today. I have got an e-mail and LUD was changed in the same time.
I can not say – it was extremely hard for me waiting for the approval - I am keeping myself busy: work, traveling, family…
But I recognize this date (GC approval) as a very important in my life.
Thank you for the on going update of this site – it gives a real understanding of what is going on.

My ND also Jan-2001 but still waiting for Approval. Hope soon i can tell everyone like you -- I am Approved

Congrats pchela. What was your approval mail said " Card is mailed" or like me & some others " Case is approved & 14 days............."
Could you please share this info ?

Congratulations!! But may I ask (out of curiosity) why they requested your original passport and not just copies of the pages?

I have got my GC today (02/27/2006). It is backdated.

I have no idea why they need my National Passport.(original).
