First of all ....let me Thank everyone on this forum for active participation. I got approved on the 29 June and today I received the Notice of Action regarding Approval as well as the card. Here are my case details -

Receipt date for I-140 and I-485 Sept 2004

I-140 approved on Oct 2004

FP done on April 1, 2005

LUD's on April 1, 4, 12, 24. May 9

May 18 RFE: Immigration Medical (stupid doc did not sign in a few places)

June 09: USICIS receives the RFE response from lawyer

June 12: LUD stating the documents received and since prilimnary processing is complete will take less than the estimated time of 365 - 540 days.

June 30: LUD and 8 emails. Message change to Application has been approved and card ordered.

July 05: Message change to --> "The card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address."

July 05: Received both the notice of action as well as cards in mail :)

What is the procedure to get the stamping on the passport?

Also let me know if you have any Questions?

Cheers,

Congrats!

Please be informed you don't need to get the passport stamped if you have received the cards itself. Passport stamping is for those who do not have the cards yet.

By the way, please walk to the nearest SSN office and get your SSN# updated.

Best Wishes!

Hearty Congratulations

My 485 dates and FP dates are very similar to yours. I have my fingers crossed just hoping that officers have a set of EB3 applications to approve around our time frame not withstanding the EB3 visas freeze till October!!!

Hoping for the best!!!

Now if your LUD says something like this "LUD stating the documents received and since prilimnary processing is complete will take less than the estimated time of 365 - 540 days" then you are positively in with a chance of approval soon :) Good Luck!!!!
