my wife and i married feburary 6 2003 last week ins came to her door telling her her student visa is expired. she lives in brooklyn ny.she didnt get her appointment yet.for status.so they asked her a few questions etc.told her to come the following monday for a special interview.the next day she got an appointment letter in the mail that told her to come for her regular interview on the 8th floor at federal plaza.we went,we spoke to a fraud investigator(jerk). after that he told us to go in the waiting room.after waiting for an hour we had another interview with a woman she questioned us seperatly then together.we messed up on a few questions.honestly my memory is shot and even though she can speak english she sometime doesnt understand certain questions.any way we are seperated but still married.also the woman showed me a document and asked if anything looked funny?i looked at it good and said no.then she made me sign mu name 3 times.why would she do that? after the interview she said ok you will be notified my mail the status of her case.also when she went to go to her ''special interview'' they told her they couldnt see her that day and that they would call her on the phone to let her know when she has to come back...thank you all for you help

What is your question? Or you just looking for reassurance that everything is going to be OK?
You needed help BEFORE the interview.
Now there is nothing you can do until you hear back from Immigration. They told you you’ll get a notice in a mail? So sit and wait for it. And don’t beat yourself up, at least before you’ll know the results of your interview.
Was it AOS interview, or just about her expired status? Is her I-485 still pending? What kind of questions INS asked?
What exactly do you need help with?

I think the problem they had was that you two are not living together

and you two just got married last year.

Don't panic just yet.

Go speak to a lawyer and see what your options are if you do get denied.
