I am a bit confused as to what is going on with our case

September 2006: My wife and I did our FP/biometrics
Nov 2006 my EB1 (I-140) has been denied with the i-485
Dec 2006 we sent an Appeal

Today March second 2007 my son got biometrics appointment , no changes on my or my son USCIS LUD profile

Could someone can tell me what going on here..is it good sign ?
