I-94 with Old Visa and New H1

Hi,

I am in this rare (I think) situation needing some help from you. If somebody has any information regarding this, can you please share. Thanks in advance! Here it is.

My Visa is valid till Aug 1st 2004, my I-94 as well. [ from my old company A ]

I recently got fresh H1 approved till May 2005 from Company B. But I-94 did not come attached with it [as it generally does]. Now in this situation do I have to go back to home country for getting visa stamped or can I just travel abroad and comeback to US before August 1st 2004? Will they give me i-94 till May 2005?

Please respond if you have any information, or let me know if you need more details.

if u come back before the expiry, you will get the new I-94 with new validity.
