I-94 stamp date a day earlier than return ticket date

Hi All,
My mother came to Visit us in US with a 6 months round-trip ticket. Her return ticket is on 15th of Jan'05. But, her I-94 card is valid till the 14th of Jan'05. A day earlier than her return date. So, will she be out of status for a day? What can we do? Advance the return date?

Any advice?
