I-94 question

Hi everyone
I came to the US to work on a TN-2 (Mexican born), I switched employers and they filed a I-129 for me. So I have a I-729 with the new I-94 record that doesn't match the one in the website. I'm currently waiting on my PERM to be processed, I believe it should be approved by the end of the month.
My lawyers will file my I-140 and I-485 for the GC process after that. I started getting paranoid because I'm sure that I read somewhere that they had problems because the I-94 record was wrong, but I can't find the post to double check. So my question is: Would this discrepancy on the I-94 cause any issues for me? Should I get a new I-94 at the border?

Thanks in advance!

There is no "discrepancy". The CBP's I-94 website is only for electronic I-94s issued on entry. Paper I-94s from Change of Status or Extension of Status are issued by USCIS and do not show up on that CBP's website. This is normal. Paper I-94s and electronic I-94s are equivalent. Since you were issued a new (paper) I-94, it supersedes all previous I-94s, and the I-94 you were issued on entry is no longer valid.
