I-94 Question!!!!!!!! URGENT

I have a question regarding the I-94.My wife and 6 year old kid travelled from US to India. We live here in Salt lake city, Utah and they left via Los Angeles by Cathay Pacific on 28th May 2002. Later, when I called them in India , I found out that there I-94 was not removed from the passport. When they left LA, they showed there passport and Tickets , but the Airway officials left the I-94 as it is in the passport.

I am also planning to travel to India next month and we all are returning together on August 9th. Will there be any problem because of they having the old I-94 in the passport when we are re-entering US.

I would appreciate if you can address my concern. Thanks in anticipation.

There should be no problem coming back just explain to the officer at port of entery and u will be fine I also had the same thing few years back

In addition to earlier post, keep in mind to fill up a new one and get that stamped. The older one is now of no use so to say.
