I-94 question, pls

One of my friends I-94 is expiring on April 2003 and she has applied for H1 transfer in Jan 2003 so here are the question I have:

1) What will be the status if H1 transfer is not complete before April 2003 ie I94 expiration date?

2) How much time normally takes to process regular H1 transfer? (not premium processing)

3) If she dont receive H1 by her I-94 expiry date , will it be a problem in applying GC in future due to illegal stay for that period ? what are consquences?

No problem , once externsion/trasnfer applied your status is legal and the expiration date on new i-94 (which is on 1-797 aproval) will be considered
