I-94 Name correction

Hi,

I have missed my first name in the I-94.In my visa I have the first name as FNU and my last name as 'XXXXX YYYYY'.
In my I-94 I did not enter the family name and only entered the Given name section as 'XXXXX' and below that 'YYYYY'.
When I went to the SSN office to apply for my SSN card they said its a problem with my I-94 and have to get it corrected at the Deferred Inspection office at SFO.
My port of entry was LA.
Please let me know how do I approach the Deferred Inspection office at SFO?Is it located within the airport?Do I need to get an appointment?

Hi,

I have exact same problem. My port of Entry was Chicago, but I am in SF , California.

How did you resolve your issue, I live in San Jose...

Where Should I go to fix this ?
If I have to go to airport , should it be the Airport of port of entry ?

Please reply to this post as you would have resolved your problem by now and that would help me a lot.
