My wife I-94 lost. Her I-94 is expired anyway. Will it be a problem while travelling on AP?.

She is travelling in Oct.

Thanks

Hi,

I had a similar experience. I didn't have my I-94 (and it was expired) with me when I left the country last month for a vacation. My lawyer submited the original I-94 during the AOS application. I just made sure that I have my Advance Parole documents for re-entry. During re-entry, the IO stamped my AP with "Paroled until...."

Also, I called the BCIS hotline and explained to them my situation (leaving the country without I-94). They said I should be fine because I have my AP with me. Should you have any doubts, you can call BCIS and ask them for advise.

Good luck.

I think it's better to get the replacement I-94 before leaving. So you would be safe on re-entry even if they check their new exit-entry system for your status.

You may need I-94 at the time of PP stamping

When ur I485 is approved, you will need (?) I-94.
I also lot one and it takes about 5 months to get replacement one. ( form I 129)

you can get one from the local office

send them a copy, saying you sent the original to BCIS and need one for enter/leave US. Usually they do. One friend of mine did.

Airline people will take I-94 in airport when check-in right?

Do they create any prob when we dont have I-94 at airport?

Thanks

Re: Reply

You don't have to submit I-94 when you leave, but you will have problem in the future because I-94 is the evidence for BCIS that you leave USA for a certain time.
