I-94 & I-551 stamping?

Gurus, please respond.

We got our passport stamped at San Jose on Friday, the IIO asked me (primary applicant) to give I-94, EADs, AP + photos, but in my wife case he took the approval notice, photos, then got her signed & finger printed on I-89 form, didn't even ask for I-94 or EADs, or AP. Would this delay her processing of physical Green Card? is there a possibility they might send a letter asking for my wife's I-94??

Please advise.

Take it easy.

Taking EAD, AP or I-94 back from you (or anyone) is because you don't need them.

It should not delay getting plastic-card.
