i-94 for passport stamping

hanging in here

I was just prepping for my tomorrow's passport stamping, and realized that I only have three i-94s (originals). One was issued in 1997 at the last arrival in the US, which is attached to my old (expired) passport. I haven't lef the US since then. Two i-94s came with the approval notices of H1b visas. I have no current i-94 (I stopped working on H1b and switched to EAD a long time ago).

I've been in the US since 1989, and so I'm sure I had all other i-94s but I did not make any copies of these earlier i-94s.

So here's my question: Did anyone have any problems showing up for passport stamping with just recently issued i-94s?

I did search the forums about this topic (of i-94 for passport stamping) and got some answers, but some say we need all i-94s, and others say recently issued i-94s will do. I'm beginning to worry a bit...

As long as you have your last I-94 you are fine.....from what I have read in this forum....most of the service centers don't care.........some may not even ask for it....so take it easy....

They don't care the I-94 from H1-B notice or original, but they prefer the recent original one when you enter.

Just now came back from the passport stamping!
You guys were right, the officer only took my 1997 (most recent arrival) i-94.
Also, the officer didn't ask for APs or EADs..
Now time to wait for the arrival of my card!
