I have a question. Can I as a derivative asylum status holder apply for I-94 with a stamp on it saying that I was granted asylum status or I just can have only a letter from INS saying that I was granted derivative asylum status as a proof of my status. Can it be done? And if yes, where and how can I get it? Thanks for your help.

If you did not get it in the mail after your approval, you should apply for it at your local UCIS center. I'm a derivative asylee (not through I-730, as I was added to my husband's case before he got approved by immigration judge). They mailed me one. You are eligible for I-94 stamped "asylum granted, employment authorized, valid indefinitely". Since recently, this can be your document to show employment eligibility.... If I'm not mistaken.
