H-1B Stamping - I-94 extension
I am an H-1B Visa holder. I went to Mexico to stamp my H-1B and they have hold my visa for the additional security clearance. The officer told me that when he gets the clearance he will inform me and I will have to mail my passport to them with a return envelpe and they will stamp the VISA. Now, when I went to the immigration they let me re-enter in USA with 3 weeks I-94 validation and told me if I dont get my visa by that time I will have to go to the nearest immigration office to get the extension on my I-94. My H1B is expiring in May 09 and I have one I-94 with that H1 as well. I don't know what the procedure is to get the extension. Please advise.
