I just applied for my EAD last Nov 2006 and got approved this week. Unfortunately the validity date is only up to April 9, 2007, because my husband's I-94 is expiring (he entered the u.s. with an expiring passport). Our visa is still valid up to 2009. We have since renewed his passport. Our problem now is that I need his new i-94 to renew my EAD asap.
How long does it take to get a new i-94? Would it be ok to renew my EAD, with an expiring L1's i-94 and just attach a copy of the i-94 extention receipt notice?
