I went for a vacation in the philippines and entered the US Jan 2012. They gave me an I-94 that will expire feb 2013 which is the validity of my passport. My H1b is still valid until oct 2014. What are my options? I already went to custom and border protection in JFK but they turned me down saying I waited too long. I don't want to go home because it's too expensive. The officer at CBP also told me that they don't give new I-94 at the canadian border if you are staying in canada for less than 30 days. pls help!
