I-94 Entry for Pak Nationals

My brother came to the US yesterday. He has a Green Card but even he was detained for 2 hours at JFK Immigration Section. He told me that some families told him that the ladies in the group got six month entry whle the men got only one month entry. Could anyone verify this?

Hello- I am out of country and my family with minor child want to travel back to US with valid visa as dependent.
Which border post is safest to cross with out any trouble?
Also is there a issue if minor is travelling with one parent only? I have read that if on eparent is travelling with child the other parent should provide a notorised statement that he is ok if child is travelling with other parent.
From where they can get I-94 form so that they can fill it before apearing at POE to save some time?
Is it safe to cross from Windsor-Detroit tunnel in a public bus?
I am only worried beacuse I wil be not be travelling with them and also I am in India

Please help in sharing your experiences and advise.
