I-94 and PP stamping

Is I-94 absolutely required for PP stamping? I have entered the US in 1990 and haven't been outside ever since. I do have my original I-94 - issued in '90, valid to '91, after that I have changed/extended the legal status several times, but have never had an actual visa in the passport or have traveled outside the US to get any other I-94s. If I have to turn that in, I'll do it, but I'd like to keep it since it has emotional value for me.

Any ideas?

RD/ND - 06/01
FP - 01/03
Transfer from TSC 2 VSC - 02/04
AD - 03/04
(planning to go for stamping in the near future)

Man, thats a long time.... Well, you can always make a copy for yourself before you submit it (actually you should do that if you submit your I-94). I guess it wouldn't matter as it was such a long time ago if you don't give up your I-94.

You always get I-94 at the bottom of I-797 approval notices when you extend the visa.

Yes, but is that considered arrival/departure record? Are you saying I should show them the I-797 last H1B extension I had? BTW, that one has expired too (in 2003).

Yes, you should submit the last I-94 attached to your last approval notice.
