I-94 and EAD question

Hi Gurus

I had a question regarding the I-94. The last time I entered US in 2004, I used my H1 visa and thus I had an I-94 which was valid only till the expiry of the visa ( Sep 2005) - My visa is cancelled as I am working on EAD now.

I dont plan to leave US before Sep 2005 ( and the expiry of the I-94) so I was just wondering if I need to do anything special in such a case ?? or will I not be questioned when i leave after Sep 2005 at the port of departure stating that I have overstayed my I-94 validity ?

Any Input would be appreciated. Thanks !
 
If you are working on EAD then your status is AOS ( 485 pending ). I-94 does not mean anything now and you must not leave without AP. In same way it does not matter when you leave ( Sept 2005 date ).

You should get a AP and then leave the conutry whenever you want and come back on AP.
