I 90 Replacement of Green Card

Recently received a greencard with an incorrect information related to my country of birth, and filed the I 90 to replace it. It is the USCIS' fault which means I didn't pay anything. Does anyone face this kind of similar case? How long the process takes to get fixed?

It took me just over three months to get a replacement card: my name was incorrect, but, at least, i did not have to pay the replacement fee since the error on the card was not my fault and I had had a very solid evidence to support that. Postage expenses were kinda high, though. :D Don't ask me how many years, blood, tears and mental health it took me to get this card - I was seriously depressed over this issue around Christmas of 2005: for whatever reason my I-485 was hopelessly stuck! This board kept me going and not letting me slip into insanity.:) Anyway, dealing with the INS is a matter of the past for me and I sincerely hope it will be soon for you, too. :)

Dear Be4:

we all suffered the same before we got our GC. depression, worried, like crazy people etc.

It is good we all went throught it.

It is re-born process.
