I-90 receipt notice

Hello:

I had applied I-90 for my son's GC as the date of birth was incorrect. I filed it on Feb 26,2008 and have a proof of delivery by FedEx. But, so far I have not received the receipt notice. Is this normal or something to worry since the original GC was enclosed with that letter?.

Experienced folks, please suggest.

We mailed our I-90 package (middle name spelled wrong on GC) on 2/11 and USCIS signed for it on 2/14.

After about 3 weeks, we rec'd a letter from them (on 3/6) letting us know that they had received the original green card with the error and would issue a corrected card. On 3/7 we got an email update that card production was ordered. We received the corrected card in the mail on 3/18. :)

Nathanss, it depends where do you live. I live in LA and I filed my I-90 form option (d) in Nov. 07 due to misspell my first name, but I have not yet hear anything from USCIS. Called 1-800 number several times, but every time the representative told me different waiting time. The last time I called, I was told to wait "at least SIX month"

Thanks for the people who responded.

Finally, I received e-mail from CRIS saying they ordered a new card for my son. It took about 60 days after I filed I-90 and no letter or receipt notice.
