Folks,
I just realized that while e-filing I-90, I forgot to answer two questions, namely:
1. Are you in deportation proceeding?
2. Have you abandoned your permanent residence prior to filing this app?
These questions were seemingly stuck in under a section that was not applicable to me, so I skipped it. If you look at the paper version of I-90, it is difficult to miss these two questions, but if you do it online, it is easy to miss them.
It said that if you answered Yes - you need to provide explanation. But I did not answer Yes nor No. And the system let me go through without validating this. I guess the fields are not considered mandatory. (The software developer did not put enough validation, huh?
).
Anyway, is this a big deal? What do you guys think?
