I-90 for Data Correction on Plastic Card

Did anybody recently apply form I-90 for Data correction on the plastic card? The question is do we have to go to INS in person to apply or can I go through my attorney? In my case INS miss spelt my name on the card and I have to get it corrected.

Can anybody guide me?
 
i do not know the answer to your question, but could you post the details of your approval date and when you received your actual GC card...
