I-9 form?

Hi guys,
My I-140/485 is pending and got my EAD. But i am currently working on H1B on company A. Now company B took over company A and they have asked me to fill out the I-9 form ? Is I-9 form applicable for H1B holders? if so, what info. do i need to provide?

Any response is appreciated.
