I am joining the new employer on 15th of this month. My 485 was applied in Feb 2001. My original EAD expires on May 29th, 2002. So, I applied for EAD renewal on Apr 28th. (dumb!) I received the Receipt notice, too.
What should I put when filling up I-9 form at the new employer? Document#, expiration etc.? Is EAD the only way of filling it up, then what is the use of after-180-days-could-change-to-similar-job rule? But I just applied for EAD renewal. I don\'t have any expiration date other than the one on original EAD that expires on 29th of this month. How\'re people doing it when changing jobs? Please Help!!!
