I-9 and Social Security Card after GC

I used to work on H1B, now I have the GC. Do I or my employer need to do anything to reflect this transition? Should I file a new I-9?

Also, do I need to get a new social security card?

Although it is your employer's responsability, it is recommended that you bring this to your employer's attention and file a new I-9.

If the card you currently have says "VALID ONLY WITH WORK AUTHORIZATION" then you might want to consider getting an updated card, as to reduce confusion from any future employers. If not, then there is no need. Either way, your SS number will remain the same.
