There is a requirement that the sponsor needs to fill up the I-865 (change of address) form to notify about the new residence. Is it OK to provide a foreign address in the form I-865 if the sponsor is temporarily out of the country on an assignment and does not have a permanent US home address during this time. Or should one just provide a forwarding address (of a friend/relative) in the US for this period.
Also, even after the family members have obtained the GC and the sponsor then moves out of the country, can the same form I-865 be used to specify the new foreign address. Thank you.
