On the NVC website, I came across the various I-864 form options and one of them is filing form I-864EZ, provided all below options apply.
1) You are the Petitioner and filing form I-130 for an Alien Relative. check
2) The relative sponsored is the only one on the form. check
3) The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more W-2. check.
My household size is 4 (myself, hubby, child, and petitioned relative i.e mother), so 125% of poverty line is $27562
My question is, we file joint returns and I alone make more than than 125% of the poverty line. So that means I can use form I-864EZ, correct?
If so, will just sending in copies of my W-2 and pay stubs be enough or should I send a letter from my employer as well to show my income?
