I-864 to fill up or not?

Hi! Do I need to fill up form I-864 if my husband (USC) is full time student and didn't work for a long time? What to do????

Your USC husband will be your primary sponsor (even if you are using a joint sponsor to make up the income levels/assets)...so yes, he needs to fill out an I-864.

Thank you, but my husband is not sure he wants to sighn such document. And I don't know what to do.

I think it is required for him to sign it in order to sponsor you, so unless he signs it, your application won't be approved! Why doesn't he wanna sign it?

He is not sure; probably he doesn't want to involve his parents to be joint sponsor. In case I run away.

But you can't get the GC unless you have a sponsor so you will have to let him know that he has to sponsor you otherwise your application will be denied
